Karl Garufi Returns as Major Sponsor of the 2026 Nundah Festival

Karl Garufi, Nundah’s leading real estate agent and part of McGrath Aspley, is delighted to be returning as a major sponsor of the 2026 Nundah Festival, joining Brisbane City Council and Gardner Vaughan Group in supporting one of the local area’s most popular community events.

Karl has a genuine and long standing connection to Nundah. Having grown up in the area and worked there throughout his real estate career, his ties to Nundah run deep, however they don’t end there. Karl loves and cares for this area that has been such a big part of his life, and is a passionate supporter of the local community, he serves on the Nundah Now Committee, and sponsors many local organisations; including schools, community groups and major events in and around the area.

The Nundah Festival is a big hit for the local community.
The Nundah Festival is a popular annual event for the local community.

The annual Nundah Festival is back for 2026, and will be held on Sunday 13 September, from 9am to 3pm along Sandgate Road, Nundah. The festival has evolved over the past few years, and is now an award winning fixture on the local calendar. This free, volunteer run festival brings together live music across two stages, food stalls, market stands, street performers and rides for children throughout the day; it’s a lot of fun and a great day out!

As a major sponsor, Karl and his team will have a dedicated stand directly beside the main stage, providing an easy place to connect with the community. The stand will feature branded signage, printed property and community information for visitors to take home, and a friendly team on hand throughout the day to say hello.

“This is one of the biggest days on the Nundah calendar, and I am so excited to be able to support the event as a major sponsor. It’s important for me to give back to this amazing community and be a part of the Nundah Festival. We’ll be right next to the main stage in a great spot for people to stop by, have a chat and find out more about what is happening locally,” Karl said.

For locals wanting to know what is happening in the Nundah property market, or simply looking for an update from someone who knows the area inside out, Karl will be at the stand throughout the day and is always happy to have a chat.

Throughout the day, visitors to the stand will be able to enter a range of competitions using QR codes, making entry quick and simple. Full prize details will be confirmed and shared on McGrath Aspley’s social media channels closer to the event. Children visiting the stand can also enjoy free face painting.

The Nundah Festival regularly draws large crowds from across Brisbane’s inner north. Karl and the McGrath Aspley team encourage everyone in the area to come along, enjoy the entertainment, and drop by the stand beside the main stage to say hello.
